Could you do one on just Subud Youth (which of course means all the way up to the late twenties
or older ! Wishing i could be there..i guess ill have to wait another 4 years
to pierce+a fantastic team : you are doing an amazing job over there!!!

Love the idea that Subud just hasn’t grown up yet – praying though that we are now into young adulthood, and not stuck in a stroppy, uncommunicative teenage phase!
Keep up the good work, Congress TV.

there are many subjective traps and dangers in thinkin as a group.
if we are standing in a circle with our backs turned to the world,
no one can see in, and we cant see the rest of the wourld either!
dare to be bold and face the world alone as an individual with integrity,
and abstain from making demands on “them” as a “we” in subud groups.

Once again I say thank you for making all of us all over the world a part of the Subud Congress in NZ.
QUESTIONS ARE EXAMINED ONLY FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF SUBUD USA:
Is Bapak’s vision happening? My answer: Yes, partly.
Is Subud on the right track? My answer: Yes, but it’s currently stalled along the right track in the USA, but this isn’t all bad.
Being stalled along the right track is better than being on the wrong track. The wrong track is changing the way we receive the latihan, and receiving it in some way other than in total surrender, as Bapak told us. Thus we’re on the right track. But stalled because, for example, in the USA we have had about 2,000 members since the early 1970’s, and thus have not actually grown. Our annual budget, and maybe Lewis can correct me if I’m wrong, taking inflation into account, hasn’t grown much in the past 10 years. The nice thing is we have matured and we’re using the structure better than in the early days. My hope is that at a national level we can reexamine the “Subud Rules” (yes, there are many!) and begin to actually grow as an organization. Aloha!

Episode 7- yes,let’s keep moving along with guidance. We’ve caused our own suffering by trying to impose individual ambitions too much on the organizations,and I pray that we all get better at following daily,minute by minute guidance in our work.
