Thank you so much for bringing the congress to us even though we are not there with you. Having just watched this latest episode please could I respectfully request you reduce the volume on the background music, or even remove it. I really struggled to hear what was being said by the folk on stage. The quality of the sound via the microphones was not so clear and there were many times I lost the voices behind the music.

Thank you for all your work on our behalf, it is much appreciated. It is so lovely to see all these wonderful folk from around the world on our screens.

The background music for the Plenary Session video was so beautiful, wondering what is the name of it ??

I hope that this congress will tackle some basic issues, as:
Why hasn’t Subud grown in fifty years? Why do so many newcomers leave?
Why does no one know about Subud? Why is there hardly any readable information on Subud available to the general public? Why is there still so much ‘mixing’ with Javanese and Islamic mystical concepts? Why doesn’t it have a universal appeal, if it is so unique?
In the 1989 Sydney World Congress the discussion group ‘The spread of Subud’ formulated proposals for a change. These were torpedoed by kedjiwaan councillors even before they reached the General Assemblee for a vote!
It is time to think about a change in approach.

Another very watchable update from the TV team. Thank you. I do agree with Lianne however on the audio quality – for those of us listening via pc speakers, it was not that clear. Whilst appreciating that sound recording isn’t easy, maybe Lianne’s suggestion of not including a musical background on this type of recording content, is worth considering?

    Suggested with love…

Liked the music in this one. The suggestion to mike next to the speaker while filming is a good one. Then, you can regulate the mix better, music and spoken voice.
